Misfit Ministries is an Arizona-based religious and spiritual ministry and a global movement devoted to helping people move beyond indoctrinated, dogmatic religion and toward personal spiritual awareness, responsibility, freedom, and transformation in every area of their life.

Misfit Ministries challenges religious institutionalism, fear-based teaching, shame, control, spiritual performance, and what we refer to as “churchianity.”

Our purpose is not to attack Christ, Christianity, individual believers, or any particular faith community. We seek to recover and explore the wisdom, freedom, personal responsibility, and transformation beneath centuries of religious interpretation and institutional influence. Going beyond the dogma.

Part I

Religious & Spiritual Viewpoints

The teachings, videos, articles, books, courses, podcasts, social-media content, and other materials provided by Misfit Ministries express religious, spiritual, philosophical, educational, and personal viewpoints.

These materials are offered to encourage reflection, questioning, spiritual exploration, and personal growth. They should not be interpreted as declaring that every visitor must accept a particular religious doctrine or spiritual conclusion.

Visitors are encouraged to think independently, conduct their own research, consult trusted spiritual or professional advisers when appropriate, and reach their own conclusions.

References to Christianity, Christ, Jesus, scripture, churches, denominations, religious organizations, spiritual practices, consciousness, or other belief systems represent our interpretation and perspective. Other individuals and organizations may interpret these subjects differently.

Contributions & Donations

Misfit Ministries is an Arizona-based religious ministry operating under Sections 501(c)(3) and 508(c)(1)(A) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Contributions support the religious, spiritual, educational, outreach, content-production, administrative, technological, and operational activities of Misfit Ministries.

Contributions are intended to be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law. Individual tax circumstances vary, and Misfit Ministries does not provide tax or legal advice. Contributors should consult their own qualified tax adviser regarding deductibility.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, no goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution. When goods or services are provided, any required acknowledgment will describe them and provide a good-faith estimate of their value.

Contributions are voluntary and generally nonrefundable once processed, except in cases involving duplicate transactions, processing errors, unauthorized payments, or when otherwise required by law.

Requests concerning a contribution should be sent promptly to talktous@misfitministries.com.

Misfit Ministries retains discretion and control over the use of contributed funds, consistent with its religious and charitable mission and any legally accepted donor restriction.

A suggested designation represents the contributor’s preference and does not create personal ownership, control, or a legally binding trust unless Misfit Ministries expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Recurring contributions continue at the selected frequency until canceled. Contributors may cancel future recurring payments using the instructions provided in their receipt or by contacting talktous@misfitministries.com.

Cancellation does not ordinarily reverse contributions already processed.
