The books

Church culture turned the boldest man in history into a wilting flower.

Jesus wasn’t a pussy — though church culture presents him with all the salt, grit, and spine of a kindergarten teacher. This is a book about the most bold, controversial figure who ever lived, the message that got buried in his name, and what a real faith actually asks of you.

The Nothingness Era

What happens when the meaning we inherited begins to disappear? This is not another book offering comfortable answers to uncomfortable questions. It is an exploration of the space between belief and disbelief, identity and emptiness, and the systems we build to give existence meaning.

We live in an age where old certainties are being questioned, institutions are losing their authority, and humanity is searching for something deeper than the stories it has always been told. The Nothingness Era confronts the void beneath our assumptions. It challenges the need to cling to inherited identities, unquestioned beliefs, and convenient explanations for why we exist.

Not the end of meaning. Not the beginning of certainty. The space in between.

The space where everything we thought we knew can be examined. This book is an invitation to confront the nothingness, question the foundations of your reality, and discover what remains when the structures of meaning begin to fall away.

Why this book exists

Everyone is looking for hope and the place that was supposed to give it has gone quiet.

People go looking for answers about this life and the next in the one institution built to provide them. And too often they walk out with less than they came in with.

There’s a church on nearly every other corner, and the world is as lost and broken as it has ever been. The message got watered down so as not to offend, drowned in production and rock music instead of grounded in real wisdom. Each generation drifts a little further, finds a little less reason to walk through the doors, and something essential keeps slipping away.

This book is about what got lost, and how to get it back. Not by defending the institution, but by returning to the bold, awake, fearless figure at the center of it, and to the message he was actually trying to deliver before two thousand years of control were layered on top.

An excerpt

In the author’s own words.

From the opening

Jesus wasn’t a pussy, though church culture presents him as a wilting flower, with all the salt, grit, and spine of your kindergarten teacher.

We’re talking about the most bold, bodacious, and controversial man in history. That’s the point I want to make.

I have the minister’s paper. I have the embossed certificate. Did the carpenter from Nazareth carry a degree around in his robe, a laminated card that authorized him to spread the word? Of course not. He never had a certificate in his life, and he changed the entire world. I’m telling you the paper was never the point.

This is not a gentle book, and it does not pretend to be. It’s written by someone who read the Bible cover to cover three times, who came to faith the hard way, and who has a low tolerance for the polished, watered-down version of it. If you want your certainty handled with care, this isn’t for you. If you want it challenged so something truer can grow in its place, keep reading.

What's inside

Five parts. One argument.

Part One

Who Jesus Actually Was

The God you were sold, the man behind the myth, the success formula he was really teaching, and why the kingdom was never somewhere else.

Part two

The Rise of Churchianity

How the message became an institution — dogma, the offering plate, the boredom in the pews, and the faith that slowly replaced the one that came before it.

Part three

The Fall of Christianity

An honest, uncomfortable look at a faith that stopped reproducing itself — and what that decline actually costs.

Part Four

The Inevitable Takeover

A hard-eyed comparison of a dying brand and a rising one, and the collision the author argues is already underway.

Part five

The Way Back

What a real faith — and a real man — actually looks like, and the road back to the message that was lost.

Who it's for

For the ones who felt something was off.

  • Anyone who left the church and never quite stopped believing there was something real underneath it.
  • Anyone still in the pew who suspects the production has replaced the point.
  • Seekers of every stripe who want the bold version of the story, not the polished one.
  • People who value truth over comfort and can handle having their certainty shaken.

It is written plainly, provocatively, and without apology. That’s the point of it.
